- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from a university or institute accredited by the Indian Nursing Council or a state nursing council.
- B.Sc. in basic nursing from a university or institute accredited by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.
- Registered with the State / Indian Nursing Council as both a nurse and a midwife.
- General Nursing Midwifery Diploma from a State or Indian Nursing Council- Recognized Board, Council, or Institute.
