Jharkhand BEd Entrance Exam 2024 Eligibility

• Candidates who have secured a minimum of 50% marks in either a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% marks, or any other qualification equivalent to these, are eligible to appear for the Jharkhand BEd entrance exam 2024. • Candidates must select just one topic (from a subject category) from their qualifying degree—a bachelor’s or master’s degree—for at least 200 marks in the Combined Entrance Competitive Examination-2024, and they must have scored at least 50% in that subject. Throughout the B.Ed. program, this selected subject will be referred to as the teaching subject.
• There is no limitation in the passing year to apply for a B.Ed. course.

Note:  Candidates may also apply for admission to the B.Ed. degree if they are in their last year of a master’s program or bachelor’s. However, their candidature is contingent upon the submission of final results at the time of admission and meeting the marks percentage criteria outlined in clause 4.1.

Jharkhand B.Ed Syllabus 2024

There will be 100 total marks for the Jharkhand BEd merit list 2024 available for the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in the competitive test. There will be one mark awarded for each question, with a deduction of 0.25 points for each wrong response.

• There will be thirty questions in the language proficiency part, fifteen in Hindi and fifteen in English. These questions will cover a wide range of topics, including grammar, sequencing, comprehension, sentence restructuring, finding faults in sentence fragments, finding comparable meanings for provided phrases, filling in the holes in incomplete sentences with relevant words, and sequencing. The grammar part will cover articles, tenses, prepositions, idioms, and synonyms.
• The 40-question Teaching Aptitude section will cover a range of topics, including attitude toward education, kids, and the teaching profession; interest in teaching; group management and leadership skills; emotional and social adjustment; intrapersonal and interpersonal skills; and general knowledge of current issues about school education.
• This section, which consists of 30 questions, will address a variety of topics related to reasoning, both verbal and nonverbal; missing numbers; number series; letter series; theme finding; jumbling; analogy; odd one out; sequencing statements; statement and conclusion; syllogism; logical problems; building relationships; and numerical ability.
