• To apply for WII Dehradun Recruitment, candidates must send a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 700 (which consists of Rs. 500 for the application and Rs. 200 for processing) to The Director, Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, via demand draft or pay order issued by any nationalized bank. No alternative method of payment for the application fee will be accepted. Once paid, there is no return for the charge in any scenario.
• However,  SC, ST, PWD, or females are excused from paying the Rs. 500 application fee for WII Dehradun Recruitment. Rather, they just need to pay a processing fee of Rs. 200/-to the Director of the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, by a demand draft or pay order from any nationalized bank.

WII Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Lab Attendant:

• 10th Standard / SSC with 50% marks in the aggregate.

Driver (Ordinary Grade):

• For WII Dehradun Recruitment applicants must possess a 10th standard qualification and hold a valid driving license for both light and heavy vehicles. Furthermore, they must have at least three years of experience operating both light and heavy machinery.

Technical Assistant:

• 1st Class B.Sc. (IT)/ BCA/ B.Tech. (IT)/ B.Tech (CS)/ B.Sc. (CS) or equivalent courses in the field of GIS/ Computer / IT or PG Diploma in RS or equivalent OR
• 1st Class Tech. of 3 years full-time duration/Dip. in Engg. or it’s equivalent to applying for WII gov in Recruitment.

WII Recruitment Vacancy 2024 Selection Process

• A competitive written examination will be conducted at Dehradun.
• The candidates are advised to check the Institute’s website (https://wii.gov.in) from time to time for the date of examination etc.

Lab Attendant:

• The candidates who qualify competitive written examination will be called for a trade test for WII gov in Recruitment.
• The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in the competitive written examination and trade test.
• The question paper (bilingual- in English and Hindi) will have a total of 60 MCQs carrying one mark for each MCQ.
• MCQ paper will contain questions on General English, Samanya Hindi, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness.
• The trade test will contain 40 marks for WII Deharadun Recruitment.

Driver (Ordinary Grade):

• The trade test will be conducted and will have a total of 100 marks for WII Dehradun Recruitment.

Technical Assistant (IT & RS/GIS):

• The question paper (bilingual- in English and Hindi) will have a total of 70 marks multiple choice questions (MCQ) carrying 70 multiple choice questions (MCQ) and 30 marks for writing an essay in English for the WII gov in Recruitment post of Technical Assistant (IT & RS/GIS).
• MCQ paper will contain questions on Numerical Aptitude, General Awareness, Samanya Hindi, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General English.
